Summary
Earl of Warwick now a 'Lancastrian' prepared his position on the 13th April. Edward arrived late that day but, in the darkness, deployed his troops for battle, Because of the darkness the two armies were out of alignment, both right wings were 'in the air'. In a battle that lasted three to four hours the Yorkists were successful and most significantly the Earl of Warwick was killed.
