Allied Air Forces Memorial and authentic WWII Bomber Command station. Also contains a section dedicated to air gunners and an exhibition on the 617 Sqn Dam Busters raid.

Small but important collection of military aircraft, many in the process of restoration. The have one of the few Avro Vulcans on display and are restoring an Argentine Pucara from the Falklands War. Easily accessible from the A19.

A well presented museum with some excellent and rare items. It includes the Sir Frank Whittle Jet Heritage Centre, and can be spotted by the Vulcan at it's entrance

The museum representing the flying arm of the Royal Navy. With four exhibition halls, over ninety aircraft and over 2 million records and 30 thousand artefacts the Museum is the world's second largest naval aviation Museum.

An interesting air museum with several unusual exhibits, centred around the former control tower of RAF Dumfries, which itself houses a collection of the usual items such as engines, weapons and memorabilia. Well worth a visit if you're in the vicinity.
