Fulford Battlefield Society

A group set up to research and preserve the important but neglected site of the Battle of Fulford, (20th Sept 1066) on the outskirts of York, in England. An accompanying site, www.BattleOfFulford.org.uk records much of the ongoing research and background information on the battle. If anybody is in the area they are welcome to come and join in the archaeological work.
 
Towton Battlefield Society
www.towton.org.uk
A group dedicated to researching and promoting the Battle of Towton, (Palm Sunday, 1461) in North Yorkshire, England as well as preserving and protecting the battle site. They hold regular lectures on topics related to the Wars of the Roses.
