XIV Corps. Overnigt the 5th Division occupied the whole of Falfemont farm [yesterday's objective]. An attempt to link up with troops in Leuze Wood was prevented by hidden wire and machine-gun fire. On the other flank within Leuze Wood the German trench was attacked and occupied. The 20th Division consolidated their position by converting their posts along the Guillemont-Leuze Wood road into a continuous trench.
XV Corps. The 7th Division attacked the remaining German foothold in Delville Wood. They cleared the edge as far as hop alley and consolidated their holdings.
