Summary

Saps were pushed forward and a trench dug closer to the German Switch Line. To the left of this action an advance gained another 200 yards. Advances were also made by the Anzacs.

XV Corps. The 33rd Division in High Wood pushed saps towards the Switch Line and east of the wood a forward trench was dug. Equipment for making saps and for flame-throwing was brought up into the wood.
III Corps. The 34th Division put in an attack [10th Loyal North Lancs.] up the trench and across the open which gain 200 yards.
Anzac Corps. The 4th Australian Division gained some ground and repelled a series of counter-attacks.
