Summary

Ney [VI Corps] forming the northern flank of the Grande Armee sent forward one division in an effort to cut the communications between the Prussians and the Russians. Ney was successful with the Prussians withdrawing to the northeast and the Russians forming around Pultusk they lost contact.

Location

A small walled town in what was then East Prussia about 60 miles northwest of Pultusk. (Poland)
