Summary
Frederick the Great with a Prussian army attacked an Austrian army almost twice the number of his own force. Sending a small proportion of his troops in a feint towards the Austrian right he brought his main body in a surprise attack obliquely against the left wing. After fierce fighting Frederick gained a decisive victory.
