Roman Legionary of the 1st Century

Description
A member of the Ermine Street Guard representing a Legionary who might have helped build Hadrians Wall. He wears the Lorica Segmentata style armour which was light, easy to make, and effective against both swords and arrows. He also carries the scutum (wall shield) and pilum (javelin) typical of a legionary. By his side he has a gladius, or roman short stabbing sword.
